Channel 31, the public access (community) television channel
remains analog only. No announcement has been made regarding
it's future availability on the digital television spectrum.

There was nothing for C31 in the budget.
Fair enough as they are not part of the ABC or SBS.

The other stations got digital access so why not community TV?
Was Conroy too busy clean feeding the web to sign the licence papers?

Community TV is the only place that still "tries out" new concepts.
It acts as a training ground and a "hot house" for "talent" exposure.
It only shows Oz made programs as far as I am aware.

C31 has "FAIR GO KEV" as their current logo but after Kev's fucked-up
"Fair shake of the sauce bottle" maybe they should have used the more real
"Fair suck of the sav, Kev." which would be more C31'ish anyway.

Kev and Conroy may think every-one who wants to, will watch C31 on the
"clean feed" web over the very quick fibre broadband, FTTH, as slowed down
by the Oz-filter at god only knows how much per month.

I'll go digital when C31 goes digital.
FreeView can get stuffed as well.
They call themselves Freeview while limiting the utility of FreeView PVRs.
